Downton Abbey Show

Grantham House

I’ve always been fascinated by Grantham House, the Crawleys’ London residence. When they went to the city for the “season”, this was where they would stay. There’s actually a list of the (known) rooms, including the intriguing “Octagonal Drawing Room.” In DA-land, the house was built in 1849, during the height of the massive Victorian building projects in London. Lady Violet was 7 years old at the time! 🙂
